Our client is a leading IT provider in the Waikato Area. Due to growth in demand they are seeking a Trusted Advisor (Systems Engineer) to deploy and support infrastructure and network solutions to their wide range of clients.
On a day to day basis you will be working with clients to support their internal IT systems and manage all aspects of their IT needs.
You must be delivery focused and technically astute in a wide range of related technologies with experience as an Infrastructure / Network Engineer. Experience with Virtual Server (VMWare), SBS, Windows 2008R2, Exchange 2000-2007, SQL 2000-2008, Windows Desktops and Windows Server focus. A general knowledge in Networks, Servers, Communications and Desktops is ideal.
Ideally you will have:
- Any relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, VMWare and/or a tertiary qualification
- Vendor experience
- 8+ years in an IT role
- Experience in IT project management
